I have a 1989 GS500E that I just don't have the time or space to fix up. I have the title and bike is currently mostly complete.  Full set of white plastics with a crack or two.  Clean on the inside tank.  Factory clip on bars are bent but the triple tree is good.  Let me know what you want and I can send you some pictures.  Please be patient with shipping as I'll have to find a box for the parts to fit in.  The bike is in Charlotte NC if you want to come and get it.

White 89, white 89 ... OMG and I'm just 100 miles away.
Have a $$ in mind ?
How come I never knew of white 89 when I lived in charlotte ??

Cool.

I'm thinking $500obo for the whole thing or I can pull what you want off of it.

Yea Steezin is semi local and likely picked it up. I've bought a bike from him as well.

Thanks Buddha.

Looking for the plastic housing that goes on the back of the gauges. When I bought my bike they were already cracked and just drives me crazy even though my bike is not cosmetically perfect as it sits. The one on there doesn't create enough pressure against the gauges and so they rattle a bit while riding at certain RPM's I've tried adding some new hardware and washers but still happens, and don't want to ghetto-rig something and wedge it in.

My spare parts bike also has this housing busted. Might just strip that bike down and make it into a little track bike - after seeing that video posted on here the other day I'd love to have myself a little beater!

Ron ayers had those for pretty cheap. Relatively. Was $35 or so back 8-10 yrs ago.
