1990 GS500E, noise from cams or chain? (video included)

Hi all!

First GS ever and actually first motorcycle for me as well, some of the last owners turned this to a Cafe Racer. I have played with car engines but not with motorcycles.

So i bought this bike at "won't start" -condition. Thought i just have to clean carbs and adjust them. Turned out i had to change both intake valves. But now it is starting and running, at least somehow, still need a little adjustments on carbs i think.

But to the question i have. In video you can hear that strange "hissing" sound going with the RPMs. Sounds almost like washer was loose and resonating or something, but is this normal sound or should i be worried?

Also, could it be chain? I took valve cover off and checked timing, it was on point, chain did move about 2-3mm  when i grabbed and tried to move it up and down.

Chain guide between the tensioner and chain was a bit worn out but not broken, could the sound come from there?

Don't exactly know what happened in the engine but they both were a bit bent and light was shining thru a lot when i showed flaslight in where carbs should be. There were 0 bar compression in both cylinders.

I bought new valves and grinded them to their own positions. Now there is about 6,5bar on both cylinders.

You have a hissing noise in that poor audio and its from the engine ? Start with the basics. Intake vacuum and exhaust are the most likely spots for air hissing noises to occur, and a bit of metallic engine noises also would escape and maybe that's what I am hearing in that audio.
