First question: Does anybody know if you can buy the filter for the tank petcock separately. I've searched and can't find one.
So, if I have to buy a complete replacement unit , my second question is: Is the tank petcock from the 2001 and onward the same as the earlier models and does anybody sell GS petcocks in the UK. So far I have only found sellers in the USA and Germany.

that's for the whole thing, you can get it cheaper here.

I ordered something from these guys. And me being in the US and likelt their site geared for Netherlands it garbled up my address form. Then I sent email after email and opened tickets etc. They were closing these tickets saying I've resolved it for you without correcting the address. Worse yet, no response for 3 weeks. Then the useless emails.
Well they shipped it almost 4 weeks later, still with a garbled address. However it is due today exactly 1 month after I ordered it. It was shipped fedex and they likely are used to the bad address. Basically they put the zip code in front of the city and not after the state. However how the eff did it get through US customs and get basically to the last mile in 4 days ? I have no clue. Maybe due to it being fed-ex, it probably cleared customs at the origin. If it gets here I'll be happy, That's all.

And it got here - get this - Right address formatting. I suspect Fed-ex probably printed the label after validating it.

CMSNL is well known for Japanese stuff, I've got a few things from them and they have been good (except for the odd, "sorry we were out of it in the end" type of  stuff.)

BTW they sent one hell of a fantastic poster as an added bonus. Its currently on my office wall. Sums up the company and service in 1 simple pic. Vintage 1972 CB350 four with a big eyed little chick trying to fix it - and no get your mind out of the gutter. Its a cartoon. Trust me, her eyes are bigger than anything else in the poster.
Good people man, though you might wanna learn dutch or netherlandian or whatever they speak over there and give em a call if you are in a hurry.

PS: I wasn't worried about them not having my stuff or even taking my $$. I was worried about them shippign it to the wrong effing place. My address is 1234 Main street, ABC (city), XY (state) 12345 (zip) USA. And their form was telling them I was at 1234 Main street, 12345 (zip) ABC (city), EXXXXXXXX Whyyyyyyy (full expansion of state) US.

That's the kinda crap the Post office loses all day, month and year. Thank god fed ex reprinted the label.
