(CLOSED)WTB pre 2001 older model tank and engine side pickup cover

hi fellow GSers.


i have a modified GS with gsxr front end and a r6 swap, i did an almost complete restoration but the bike never ran right, carbs always clogged up with time, mostly because of the rusty tank.
i coated with epoxy resin the insides of the tank but now , 5 years later, its falling apart.

i should have bought a tank many years ago, i know the tanks are really scarce now.

Im not so sure about an old tank but it will be always better than mine, i think its my only option apart from making a new tank, or at least changing the bottom plate which implies soldering and way more work and skill .

The PO of my bike let it sit without cap for years, so the metal in the bottom is almost a sopnge of rust....



i dont mind if it has dents as long the metal is good.


i would really appreciate it if the community could help me , its the last vital part i need to complete my build.

i have two purchases, an engine head with the user N618ft
and othe user: weedahoe with a blue 2004 part out, now i cant find any oold post before 2019.IDK

Im located in Argentina, i know it is a huge PITA.
