Sad to offer my 2002 GS500 Twin for sale as I need space and can't ride two bikes! As a qualified mechanical engineer I have enjoyed renovating this bike and had great fun getting back into riding at the grand old age of 78.

Started first crank today after not running for months
Mot to October 2023 Current mileage 38,750 Currently SORN
Work carried out in last 1,000 miles as follows
Wheel bearings front and back
Wavy discs front and back
New pads front and back
New BT46 front tyre
New sprockets and DID chain
Oil and filter

Generally good clean condition for age. Has stainless steel exhaust.Runs really well and wavy discs are a big improvement on standard.  I have also reinforced front engine mounting which had the beginnings of some surface corrosion.
Great bike, easy to ride.  Has reputation for bulletproof reliability.

I can include a number of spare parts as seen in photos.

Asking price including spares is an honest £800
