So I got a quote to replace my gs500 04 fuel lines and they are $65 each for genuine Suzuki ones so was thinking about using generic fuel lines.
Does anyone know if these are the correct lines?

Thanks

you need thin ones, the ones from motion pro are great, Im going on 10 years and they are still perfect.

this is from my notes... Fuel hose = (tank water drain is the same) 8mm (5/16) id. - 11.5mm (7/16) od.  Need 1.5m for whole bike

Reminds me , I must buy new brake hoses for when I bleed my brakes next....

I personally think the Suzuki lines are worth the money. They are better material and fit better than any aftermarket line I've seen.

Would a larger OD fit?

If I can get a line in Australia which is the same quality or better than the Suzuki ones it would be good, I don't know why the Suzuki ones cost so much
I called a bike shop today they said if the bike has molded lines then you have to order in genuine Suzuki otherwise they sell normal fuel lines per the meter

OEM parts always cost more. But the Suzuki lines really are great. They are a non-standard size and I think different sizes on each end, plus they have a plastic sheath over them to protect from mechanical and UV damage. I have yet to find an aftermarket line that is as flexible yet strong and doesn't get rock hard after a few years. The Suzuki lines last 10 years or more and are the exact length needed.

Ok I'll get the genuine lines, cheers

I'm late to this party but I too recommend OEM lines and clamps.
