When my bike is on the center stand and I put it in first and let out the clutch the bike does not die the rear wheel moves slowly when it is ont he ground it dies.  I replaced the clutch assembly and I am concerned this is not normal

Totally normal for me, mine does exactly the same.

Tip: Adjust your clutch with the bike on the ground, not on the centerstand.

The kill switch is on the Kick stand not the centerstand.
