Front Fork and Fuel Questions. . .

I've checked out the info using the search feature about changing fork seals and upgrading to progressive springs.  Any idea of a total cost, and amount of time to do this project?

Also I had a fun experience in running out of gas.  Had the fuel switch to the ON position, engine started sputtering, switched to RES then continued sputtering and then the engine stopped.  Apparantly my fuel hoses are backwards.  How can you tell what's right and what's not?

No worries, luckily I had passed a gas station a few blocks back.  I could have done without the comment a guy gave me when I pushed my bike up to the pump:  "Got good gas mileage on the way here huh?"

Yeah, great gas mileage.

Thanks for your help!

Fork springs should run you 'bout $50-60; seals, I forgot, maybe $14 for a pair. Fork oil, approx. $4/bottle x 2. Give yourself 6 hours.
