Hi all,

Quick question, I think I already probably know the answer.  Since last fall, I've added a Cobra slip-on and Bob's ignition advancer to an otherwise stock 2000.  Now, the bike is very hesitant when in the lower RPM range, say below 4500 or so.  I almost need to keep the choke on slightly to be able to ride, otherwise, it just bucks and is slow to pickup in the lower range.  Once I get above 4500/5000, it's fine.  I think it's probably lean, but I'm not sure.  My guess is that rejetting would be the answer.  Is this something that has been seen by others?  It was running fine in the lower range last year, although before any mods....

Thanks much....
Jeff

OK dont do advancer on a bike that's already jetted notoriously lean. As Micheal moore used to say (he was the moderator on the Gs500 mailing list of yore) ... if you fit an advancer on a bike... be careful... that might be the last mod you ever make... meaning it might blow up from being so lean causing detonation.
Cool.
