I am about to order Avon radials to replace the stock excedras.  Does anyone have the Avon AV45 AV46 setup ? (F-110/70/17, R-140/80/17).
I am told they fit our rims,  and  that the only difference in "feel" is a very slightly taller rear, (aspect ratio) almost not noticeable, and that radials are far superior.  Comments?

That is the exact setup I have...and I love it.

I also put on a Katana rear shock and progressive front springs so I can't comment on how much a difference the tires made...my whole bike rode different.  That being said, the bike is much better.  More solid and very confidence inspiring now.

:::EDIT:::

I did wet test the Avon's this past sunday with a ride out to Infineon Raceway with The Good Guy and they didn't break once...

No such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people that ask questions.

Hi-T

I have an avon46 rear- and I also put in a kat shock...  The back does raise and the bike is soooo much more responsive.  The grip is fantastic- I really like the tire.  I have a pirelli dragon up front and they match up fine.
