usually when my bike doesn't start, I'm thinking it's the battery.
but today I turn the key on and there's no lights even!
unusual :?
I'm giving the battery a charge up anyway.
It was connected.
any ideas?
Thanks,

Adam R

It could be dirty or loose contacts on the battery.  Use fine grit sand paper to clean up the metal and then tighten up accordingly.  On my GS I use two washers to get a tight connection.  Without the washers, I've found that sometimes the contacts will vibrate loose.

Always worth checking that you haven't accidentally hit the red ignition  'kill switch' on the right hand side of the bars

When that happens to me, I have usually turned the ignition key over the lock position just a wee bit.  It's possible to remove the key on my GS in the Lock position and still have the park light switch on.

Check the fuse, too!

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Hopefully it's just that the ON hose is crimped, or squeezed by another part.
