16's hey... pretty good, and shows that the GS has staying power - 94 model matching it with the 2003.

1/4 mile is great fun when its off the street and in a safe environment....

thanks for the post, love reading the numbers...

Yeah...I wonder what numbers would it do in a lower altitude...at the sea level power increases notoriously.

sorry but i have to say, 16 sec 1/4 mile is sad for a motorcycle.......(no i'm not saying the GS sucks  :nono: )

well 16 sec is what normal cars run and bikes should be in the 13's and lower....i'm sure that a stock GS can run mid 14's if riden propertly

The air is thin at 8500 ft. above sea level dude! Cut the guy some slack!!

GRU

once again people get a wrong idea of what i was trying to say....i didn't say anything about Juanfer beeing a bad rider, it looked like the gs was running 17's because i got used to small bikes going 13's and 14's....sport bikes 11's and 10's but at the time i wrote the message i didn't know that all other cars were slower then his GS....if the wrx ran slower than his GS that's awsome, but i didn't know the air up there is so thin to make a engine run with a lot less power

The Buddha

On my GS I lose to cars often, the semi sporty sedans with decent V6's all wipe the floor with me... once I lost to a new OvloV... that plain hurt, as did the little chineese girl in there driving it and laughing at me... then I see that its a pretty quick car, and it will outrun a Mitsu eclipse... so I didn't feel so bad. But still ... OTOH, I outrun people with my eli's all the time, corvettes and hot rodded harley clones... they are the best to humiliate.
Cool.

Dont count todays ovlov's as the weak ones of 10 years ago. not when OOOOO <-- the quint rings of Eruo(audi) are backing the design

Corrected for sea level your best time is about a 14.978 - not bad for a first timer on a stock bike.

...and now for the gratuitous one thousandth post.
