I came across this site.

You download their free CAD program, design your part, upload it and then they make it for you.

This is yet another example of "why didn't I think of that?"

And to think... I've been working with CNC machining to add to my businees (see my signature) for a while now... and the problem is it takes so long to design parts that everyone isn't gonna want. The way they're doing it, they don't even have to design the part (customer) and all they have to do is run the mill. How perfect. I agree with the above statement...

Hi-T

It's a sweet looking program- I stumbled across it last year.  I needed some machine done for a paintball marker but never got around to it.  I would be interested in finding out how much they charge.

Yes guys, but check prices on the stuff, before y'all go "why didn't I think of that" ...

If time is money, then the pricing examples are not too terrible if you just want to prototype. I've already got an idea for something that would sell like hotcakes over on the new Bonneville forum.

Yes Time is money.... except when love is involved. That's why we spend gazillion hours, whole weekends on them... I guess buying the materials and sittng with the machinist while he makes the part for you and you try it on the bike and make mods etc... has no cost you can put on it. Takes me damn near 3 hours to make the first handle bar, can make ~10 in the next 3 hrs after that, but the first one is 90% of the effort.
Cool.
