Old gsxrs are some of the sweetest looking bikes ever made, assuming you're going to pull the plastic off and do a tail swap. Considering what Jim does, I assumed that is what was coming. You should pick up a 750 and start on that. It was a better bike anyway!

Jim Knopf

servus,

done today the new frontend on the orange gs and the new bars on the white one.

pics on saturday.

servus,

here is the new bike by Jim Knopf Customs:

black frame
4,5" longer swingarm
full fairing
perlmutt white
orange wheels
selfmade handlebars
gsxf shock
gsxr footrest

So is that the longer swingarm in the pic? It looks stock to me.

servus,

its a longer swingarm! axlebolt to framebolt: 27"

and now the pictures:

Fairing:

the new exhaust for the white gs:

and now the new usd frontend for the orange gs:

next week finishing from both bikes.

JEREMY JOCK

I feel like some huge dual headlights would look awesome on the orange bike.

Both are sweet though. I like the new exhaust for the white one.

Looks like the makings of a rear shock, but what do I know  :dunno_black:

Thats a rear suspension with Airride.

Now i´m searching for a frontsystem for Ducati Forks.

Chanse

Im wondering what that front end would look like if the headlight was completely shaved off and a pair of projectors was put in the sides of the tank where those scoops are.
Current project:
Mmotos full body kit (YOU DONT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM... READ MY THREAD BOOT STATE UPDATE)
K&N Lunchbox
Buddah's jets
CBR F2 rearsets
Ducati pass pegs (Modified)
Kat rear wheel
Carbon Fiber Exhaust Can, possibly shortened and relocated
And so on......

gregvhen

my favorite gs ever is still seamax's ..... so far  :icon_mrgreen:

servus,

The Ide is not bad, I have only about our TÜV clarify whether it is registered. Only what I do then at the fork, if the light is gone?

Since this morning the new wheel with new tire size is mounted. 6,5 x17 with 200/50-17 tires. Great and beautiful wide.

I ran after pictures.

@gregvhen: no problem for me, seamax´s gs is beautyfull.

seamax

Jim, your skills, experience, and styling are way beyond my years. I can't even weld.

POST MORE PICS PLEASE.
