Got my GS today!

I finally picked up my GS today.  All-black '91 with srinath bars on it.  Couldn't resist a spin around my neighborhood.  Had my helmet, jacket, and gloves...just no valid registration, inspection, or license.

Now I'm sealing it away in the garage untill I can get into the MSF course or get some quality parking lot time to prepare for the road test.  

Can't wait to get some more hours under my butt.

Try not to give in to the temptation again to ride with no reg of licence not good  but I was quilty of it too  :lol:    :lol:
good luck with test hope it all goes well and keep us all informed I'd be interested to see the differences in training in other countries

Hey buying from someone on this site and getting in this right away actually makes you familiar with the bike much sooner I think. Any previous mods and fixes are likely to be found by looking for wavehound's old posts.

That's a great point--not sure why I hadn't thought of that  :dunno:

Aside from the bars, I think it is bone stock.  Even from my short (very slow) ride, it was painfull apparent that the front fork springs aren't sufficient to keep the front end from diving in a stop.  I should have time to get and install the progressive springs while I'm waiting to get into an MSF course.
