Title: gs exhaust
Post by: mbbikes2005 on June 10, 2006, 07:38:34 PM
finally got round to fitting my bsm vampire exhaust on my 91 gs. ive still a lot to do to the bike but thought i would post pic of bike so far.Just bought a solo seat off a ducati monster so im gonna fit it as soon as i can. the bsm vampire exhaust has to be the best sounding exhaust ive heard on a twin and is well recommended .   (http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i181/mbbikes2005/7d9d0295.jpg)

I'm curious how you intend to mount the Ducati Monster seat cowl. Are you just going to have it go over your seat, leaving room in between the cowl and the seat? There is going to be a gap there and it probably won't look pretty. It probably won't mate up cleanly with the side panels either. Keep us posted, though.

sorry no sound clip as yet as im outta da country at min. will get as soon as i get back. the ducati monster race solo seat conversion will replace the seat completely and i will weld on braces to the frame for proper support. just bought a gsx550 streetfighter for spares so im gona fit the gsx front end to improve the front suspension and give me twin discs. what info u want bout pipe?[its a bsm vampire carbon can all details are on the bsm website. has any1 got any ideas were i can get an ignition advancer in the uk.

Nice, I wish they were out here. I would love to buy the easiest exhaust setup possible without custom work.

yeah i alway found after riding the gs for about 100 miles i ended up with real sore wrists. yet when i take my 1979 gt250x7 the same distance my wrists are fine. has any1 ever noticed this about the gs?
