OR something went IN. My guess is one of the bikers threw/shot something at the car.
If you notice, the SUV was braking as soon as the window shattered... meaning they prolly were startled by it.

aye, but i really didnt see the riders gesture like they were throwing something or shooting something tho. and if you shot/throwed into the car would teh glass still blow out?

My guess is that one of the passing bikes kicked up a stone. That's scary shaZam! though. Makes you understand my most (if not all) states require eye protection.

If your rear window shatters from the OUTSIDE on an SUV or similar shaped vehicle, the vortex of air behind it will "suck" the glass towards the outside.
