I polish aluminum parts.
Example: Stock clip on top-plate $50 you pay to ship it to me and I will polish and pay to return it to you. This price is lower 48 only and is for a glossy non mirror finish. Top of plate and clamps. Can mirror finish for more $. I will polish parts from any were. If you got something you want polished shoot me a pic. Please include something in the pic to help me get an idea of the size for example set a dollar next to it then take the picture or a tape measure. Aluminum parts only at this time. If you send me something that is not aluminum and I can't tell the difference and damage it trying to polish it Magnesium for example. I am not liable, but I have worked with a lot of metals and usually can tell. I plan on expanding to chrome cleanup and maybe Carb cleaning and detailing.

Cuz I can see the brush or wire marks from whatever tool you used. I would suggest using a sotchbrite polishing dish on a bench grinder, that is how I used to polish the parts of my supercoupe. you customers will thank you, also If you wanna get rid of oxidation on polished parts just hit them with some clear.

Thank you for your input Sir. Yes it got hit with the Sotchbrite. I have been polishing as a side bussiness for about 5 years or so. I do pretty good with it so thought I would bring it up here.

I like it :thumb:
Thank you.
I own a powdercoating shop in SOCAL, can I advertise too?
A monkey with sandpaper can polish.
where in so cal is your shop?
If Srinith can advertise his custom parts manufacturing i think its fair enough if you want to just mention your business. We all have bikes and if your a member here to contribute to the board and not just here to advertise your shop or business then i think thats reasonable. It happens all the time, people making customer badges for the bikes and want to sell them if someone wants them, key rings etc... If your contributing to this board then fair enough. What we don't want is bloody adverts from people who don't give a crap about anyone here and are just trying to make money because of the large audience on the site.
This is just my opinion i am not the authority.

I see no problem with this. There is a
Report to moderator icon that you should use to forward his post to the mods who will decide if this is appropiate or not.
If this is not appropiate, then I should be banned too... as well as... JamesG, Chuck81, Bob Broussard, Srinath, Airbrush, Lizard84, and there are more who provide custom products or services to the members here.

LOL!!! SlowInTheStreights must be of lower being than a monkey then because you certinally don't polish with sandpaper.
No offence SITS.
Normally you do.. go from something like 120 grit.. to 300.. eventually to 2000.. the surface has to be very smooth :dunno_white:
Here is another. I left the center unpolished so you can see the difference.

Largely, I made that post to play devil's advocate and see if the board thought it was appropriate or not. Guess they do, and I do too, I suppose.
