i'm severely interested, primarily for the header because i want to adapt a different yosh pipe to it. but money talks and as i'm currently in between several things right now, i relinquish any form of "dibs" i may have implied to yev.

i was just curious for impulse purposes.

Interesting, custom rearsets eh?  I'd be interested in a pic of those, and curious as to why you didn't go with Woodcraft?

Because Woodcrafts cost money and I made them for nothing. They have the same offset.

Here is a pic of the fixed rearsets. A GSXR brake pedal, splined shift knuckle and shift rod are needed. Also, the rod on the m/c needs the be shortened or use a GSXR m/c.

Both are are still available.
The carbs are 34mm not 36mm as I orginally posted, it has been corrected.
They can be used on the street but are designed for higher performance not fuel economy.
One of the velocity stacks was chipped and I used epoxy to fix it.

Keihin CR Special Carbs 34mm $250.

Some pics of the carbs:

Not sure about their performance on a stock motor. They will bring a built motor to life.
They have a faster throttle response. A little more touchy while under constant throttle position though.

No air filter included, just the velocity stacks. One could be made to fit if needed.

I don't use paypal anymore (sign-in issues).

Cash, credit or money order.... which would you take for the exhaust, filter, and mains?
I'm at 27403, NC.

I can pay you right after I get back from the pet store.  Marcy requires edibles.

If you pick it up, I will take $100 for the exhaust, filter, and mains. Cash or m/o. The only way I could take credit is through PayPal.

Depends on how far you want to go and spend.
Expect... oversize pistons $300, cams $250 are the first that would need to be done. Then you could mill the head, remove counterbalancer & rebalance the crank (personally I like the mass of the c/b shaft). Extreme could include a 4-valve head conversion.

I was going to use those carbs on a 569 motor I have sitting on my bench, waiting to be assembled.

Got your message.

I can pick them up Saturday.  Just let me know when and where.  I'm in Greensboro, NC, it'll take me about 3.5 hours to get there.  I'll bring the best monopoly money I can print.

Those mains will fit the stock carbs, correct?

Got the pilots to go with those mains?  Will the clip-ons fit the M/C and all the other accessories?  I'm new, so I don't know what that measurement meant.

And, this is the pipe that you repacked a while back, right?  I read that you were running 152.5 mains and 17.5 pilots, but what is a "tank spacer"?
I got your message about the 145 vs 150 mains.  Since I've never rejetted, I'm guessing that the 145 will run slightly leaner than the 150's.  Am I wrong?  Why did you prefer the 145's?  I'm about 200 miles north of you, so I don't htink that will make much of a difference.  Google Earth shows your town to be kind of rural, but I live in the middle of a city.  Should I be worried about your local climate affecting your rejet settings, and therefore mine?

I've been searching on this for quite a while.  And, yes, I've been staring at the rejet matrix.  I hear Buddha talking about the "black art" of carb maintenance, though, and I'm slightly worried.

And, I understand your points.

I will take the 145 mains off of your hands, and try not to bug you anymore about it.

No problem. Glad to explain any of my logic. I try to avoid posting it, most of the time.

The clip-ons I have are for 41mm forks (Katana & SV), the GS forks are 37mm.

I have not repacked this exhaust. I looked inside it (without taking it apart) and it looked fine. If I have time Friday night, I may be able to do it if you want.

That's good to know about the clip-ons.

Only repack it if you're not gonna charge me!  If you say it's fine, I guess it'll be okay.  I'm not obviously not a racer, though, so please bear that in mind.

Kat f/e with straight rate springs.
A couple of different rear shocks on different bikes... one had a Fox TC and another has an 04 GSXR 600 shock. On both, new upper mounts were made to accomodate the longer shock.
