It's a "Johnny Pag" FX-3. I like it...little ghetto, but it's pretty cool looking I think.
Water cooled, 300cc...weighs nothing...I get to play with one in the next couple days...
Oh yeah...and they're made in America. The second they come up with a dinky little motard...oh shitz.
meh...just looked more into it and Pag is quoted as having said he manufactures the bikes there. Sad.

there = where ?
china
I'm just trying to figure out why he chose a 300cc engine. Many states have 250cc limits for young riders, hence the 250cc offerings like the Ninja 250 and Suzuki's GZ250 and TU250.
There cannot be too many buyers out there who want a 300cc bike, even at a good price. Changing it to a 250 injects a whole new pool of buyers into the mix. I don't get it.
yeah i would have thought 250 or 500 just to get into the market with suzuki gs500 and kaw 500ex
Very few of the people who buy EX250's are young enough to have to meet the age restrictions in the few areas that have them.
He went with the 300cc twin because it's cheap and reliable. Even asking $3500 for the bikes he's not making a lot of profit off them (the FX-3) and he's still beating the EX250 and whooping the GT250. Of course it doesn't really apply now, but when the FX-3 came out it looked a whole hell of a lot better than the EX250, too.
i'd like to see a sub-600cc fuel injected bike for under 4k. but hey, that's just me. :icon_mrgreen: :dunno_white:
I'm actually getting tired of fuel injection. Carburetors may be finicky when the weather changes but they're not that tough, and EFI can't be tuned by your average Joe.
maybe i'm mistaken but is it not computer controlled such as on your car? i ask because i know there are computer programs/hook-ups on your car and you can play with the FI that way. :dunno_white:
Well, in a way...but lets experiment. Go plug your laptop into your Carrolla and post the stock fuel map.
I like the Pag bikes and they have an entire line up

well, i get your point mak, not everyone has the tools readily available......but, it's possible though right? maybe i'm "young" but i've had carb cars, and didn't like them(except my plymouth fury...but that's another story). i've not owned a bike but with cars, i've found that the pros of EFI outweigh the cons. maybe it's not so on bikes. on a side note, i wouldn't be too picky who made it as long as it was good quality for the price.
Well lets look at a couple things...first, car EFI and bike EFI isn't exactly the same. They're getting that way, but still not fully there yet. Car EFI has the ability to tune itself to a certain degree. The ECU sees the air/fuel ratios and says "that's too lean" (so you just stuck a new exhaust on) and compensates. Bikes see a much narrower band...if they see a band at all. The common complicated bikes right now see a lean AFR and their response is to go into limp mode and throw a CEL until you fix the problem. Some actually do adjust, but it's just not common yet.
On the reverse, though...with a car or a bike...you put a new exhaust on. She doesn't run right? You change the jets. Even with a car it's not that difficult to do, but it does require patience and experience. Some people will never be able to afford the $1500 tuner to fully adjust their Harley Davidson's EFI on the go. Some people can't really justify the $300 for a powercommander and the $200 to get it tuned...where as just about everyone can squeeze out $30 for jets and some time on a Saturday morning for some trial and error.
point taken. :thumb: but all the same, i wouldn't want my corrolla to be carbed.
Real Carrollas have Webbers.

Real Cars have Webbers unless you can afford a supercar. Then who cares what webbers are?
I CARE WHAT WEBBERS ARE!! (what are they?) :dunno_white:
I like those bikes. I would buy one if i wanted a cheap chopperish bike. I also like the standard one. Some people just arent crazy about giant engined bikes, so I can see the market for it. Think about insurance and gas milage benefits. I bet with a 300cc on EFI would make amazing milage.
Real supercars have webbers.

ohhhhhhhhh........can i put those on my corrolla? :icon_twisted:
As with anything, with enough money...
You can to some degree tune an efi car with a fuel pressure regulator. I imagine its not that different on a bike.
idk why my p71 had 4 cats on it. ( 2 of which are rmeoved. the other two very shortly. i located a cagte, lights a lappy mount and some other stuff am gettign them wed. ( setting it up for show), but ive tuned a v12 with carbs. now THAT would be a good way to torture iraqi pow's :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
edited cause it got answered, webbers rule, work sucks :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
