Yo, is that in your DINING ROOM??!?!?!??!?  :tongue2:

"Move the bike, babe, I need to wash the dishes."

"We have a really nice new table.  It moves on it's own power - just move the tabletop."

so i got the  bike all put back together put gas in it checked the oil level and tried to fire it up. but no good it tried to cache  once and then nothing, so i looked at the pit chicken and it was off i thought thats easy turn it on and fuel started to drip out of the carb does this mean my floats are out of whack? it came from the hole in the venturie (sp) what should i do? oh and here's some better pic's (http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/uu100/jetboy287/100_2226.jpg)  (http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/uu100/jetboy287/100_2227.jpg)

Yeah, check your float heights. You'll probably find they're off... Use the clear tubing method to check, it is a more accurate test...

if they are off how do you adjust them? is it in the wiki ?
Title: Re: My new project Bike
Post by: lawman on March 25, 2009, 07:12:57 AM
First, did you put new gas in it?
Second, did you clean the carbs at all?
Third, you adjust the floats by bending the metal tab.

I ask all this because there is NO WAY that bike will start without major carb cleaning, and I bet money you have a rusty tank, and I KNOW any gas in there is bad.
