Alright. I've searched through this site a dozen times before and read all kinds of jetting information. I have a simple question, and not enough time to read 500 threads. DynoJet makes carb jet kits from x year-2000, and I think 2004 on for the "F" model. Which kit do I need to purchase for my 2001 GS500? It has a stock filter/airbox and the Vance & Hines full exhaust system. The reason I'm asking is because I'm going to sell the bike to a friend, but need the carbs re-built/jetted among other things. I don't have time to do it myself because I'm too busy training for my deployment; so I'm having a friend at a shop take care of it. Thanks.
dont get the dyna jet kit. talk to buddha he will sell you the jets you need for your setup.
Yes buying a DJ kit and having a shop taking care of it is the best way to spend waaaaaaay more time, and waaaaaaaay more money and finally having something that still does not work.

Shhh josh ... you're giving away the secrets of this site.
The next thing you know, you'd be posting to run 20 pilots and 132.5 mains and 1-2 washers and 65 mids (bassmechanicz - confirm please) ...
Sheesh ....
Cool.

just hate to see people spend money on a kit that you can do BETTER with jets from you or the dealorship for ALOT less money.

Well thank you. I'm assuming this set-up will work well in my region?
I still have to install the mids you sent me. I have been working on other projects lately and haven't gotten around to getting the bike running. All the rain doesn't help motivationally either for getting the bike running. Hopefully next week i will get the new mids installed.
