Title: What is this hose?
Post by: MrTeek on December 11, 2010, 09:20:00 AM
Hello. I've been taking apart the bike and I found a hose not attached to anything. It starts behind the battery and comes out at the bottom of the frame. I have no idea what it is, one end is complete flat, the other end is tapered (pics below).

What is this hose?

Looks like the hose that connects to the tube on bottom of gas tank to drain off water from around the filler tube.

It's not the house on the right side of the battery.

gsJack, I think you're right. Do you I need this hose to be connected or can I run her without it?

no, dont use that hose to fill the battery, just for overflow.  to refill your battery, unplug the red plugs and fill each cylinder to the fill line.  if you need more info on that im sure theres several threads about, im just letting you know not to use that hose to fill
