So i finally gave in to the wheelie urge and tried them out today.

I got a few good ones after a few tries with high revs and clutching it up...but now i hear this clicking noise somewhere around my left foot and the shift lever feels "different" on my foot.  There seems to be more resistance when i click up and down.

The bike is working perfectly normal, but im worried about this clicking plus it's extremely annoying.  It happens a lot when i go from completely no throttle to some throttle.

ANy ideas?? i haven't gotten a chance to look at the problem yet but i plan on spending a few hours on it tomorrow.  I have suspicions that something just needs tightening but not sure....
Thanks for the feedback!!Remember im a noob so i'd apprecite "dumbed down" replies.

hmmm, maybe you streched the chain (like i did) and now the chain is rubbing against something.....check the chain if it has a lot of slack.....tighten if necessary

mine makes a clicking noise to but only when its parked. go figure.

Well it turns out it was a loose chain GRU thanks a lot i tightened it using the owner's manual directions

HOWEVER!!!!!!

While i was tightening it i noticed the "notches" to align the back wheel properly were WAY off (strange considering i just picked my bike up from its 1000km tuneup)...so i figured that was probably how the chain got loose...so anyway i tightened the chain and i was off to downtown thinking i was problem free

so about an hour in to riding i rev the engine pretty high as i take off and i hear a bunch of clunks and my chain is once again FUBAR...it is very loose i intially thought it was detached (but it luckily wasn't) and my bike will barely engage so i pull off to the side

I call the dealership and tell them my whole story and remind them i just picked my bike up from it's 1000 km tune up 3 days ago...all i get is a "Weird" comment.  so i have the right tools on hand to tighten up the chain again but i am advised not to ride it so i call a tow truck and drop it off at the dealership ...FRUSTRATING since it was a perfect day to ride

also...the plate that surrounds the chain adjustment nut/screw on the left side is totally mangled and has been "sucked in" to the hollow bar it was covering...i can't believe this

any ideas?? the guy at the dealership said he had never seen that happen before and i am extremelyfrustrated...waht would cause the chain to come loose time and time again???

i am frustrated and loosing confidence in the dealership but hope they can permanently fix it

thanks for ANY feedback regarding this problem

1) Not enough torque on the axle bolt.  (Should use a torque wrench to get it right.)

2) A missing spacer on the axle.  This would allow a high-enough tension on the chain to pull the rear sprocket forward (and the wheel "diagonal" as seen from above).
