OK, so its a TAD off topic, but i need to know. How well does JB weld hold plastic to metal? My four wheel drive engager on my truck (handle on the post i pull to engage four wheel drive) came off, didnt brake, just came off. I need to FIRMLY stick it back on and i was wondering what would do that job. I would use super glue but i dont think that would hold up. Maybe some epoxy with some quick hardener. Any ideas would be great THANKS!

JB seems to work great on anything with a lot of porosity and has great compressive strength too. If the threads on the lever are still good it should work fine. If the metal is slick it might not hold as good, but you could sand the lever with some coarse (80 grit or so) paper and I think it would work. Try it and let us know. How I love the little GS and this forum.
