When I was working as a m/c saleman, a customer left his '78 KZ440 twin for repairs and didn't pay the bill. It wasn't worth fixin' or selling and it was lunch time. The mechanic who had it on his bench had already drained the oil, so we proceded to tape the throttle WFO and left for lunch. When we came back an hour later it was still running! When he hit the kill switch it seized and lurched upwards from one of the pistons stopping on the upstroke.
