Ok so my bike was stolen and wrcked in 94. It has been sitting in a garage with a bent frame and a cut wiring harness since mid '95. I am in the process of seriously starting to restore it. Problem is, I have lost the key.

Can I get a key based on the VIN number or will I have to get a new ignition switch and seat lock assembly? I have found the seat lock assembly, but what about the Ignition switch?

Also, the Handlebar lock mechanism was busted. I know it's not really necessary, but what is that called?
