Hey LW
How much is a 6K service??? Just a rough idea so I dont fall on the floor..

Lukewarm Wilson

By memory about $230 make sure they dont use synthetic oil, after your first service they will put in synthetic with out you asking its good for later model bikes with flash alloys and such but no great use for the GS ask for normal mineral oil and that way it should work out cheaper. :thumb:

Also did any of you see the papers today 1/11/04 six bike crash up The Putty 3 hurt 1 serious and a girl was killed on her bike from a head on with a 4WD it was truly not a good weekend for bikes having said that I had a great ride Sunday arvo through The Nato (Sutherland National Park) mixed it up with an R1, VFR800, Bandit 1200 and of course the BMW 1150R and the GS was never embarrissed I was at the end of the congo line but never out of site but just can't pull out of a bend like they can :x

I've seen another GS getting around between Windang and Wollongong a couple of times (it looks the same as my '02), so I'm just wondering if anybody knows of any Wollongong riders who might frequent this forum...

Bit of a late post, but guys The Snowy Run was brilliant  :thumb:  :thumb:  :thumb:  :)  :)  :)  we had it all sun, rain, sleet, hail and snow all in November oh and wind lotsa wind.
I would recommend that everyone book themselves in for next year it truely is what motorcycling is all about, there were between 2500- 3000 bikes about great weather once outside of Thredbo great roads great speeds (180kmh new top speed for me wasn't much left though) though its a bit hard to keep up in the open stuff with the litre plus bikes but showed them all what for in the tight stuff, espically down the Brown Mountain on the way back (we went via Tathra on the way back).
Sorry to hear you got booked on the way down Panik but i'm sure it still couldn't bring the weekend down, also if you look on the snowy ride website you'll see your picture under North riders but you probably already know nice picture.
Also Matt had did you go unfortantly didnt see you there did you end up going?
Well all the best guys I think a ride will have to be arranged soon but make sure you put aside this time next year if I had to ride once a year it would be for the snowy run :thumb:
