I just tore my new GS500E apart in preperation for the vigerious MD inspection. It looks like I'm going to need a rear tire brakes and a good carb clean/up at the least. My question is that I started pricing rotors!! GEEZ $300 easily for one. Where do you guys generaly go for parts through web stores? about the only thing I have in my directory is www.cyclebandit.com

My suggestion is maybe make a listing of links for the FAQ page.

Congratulations to the board and site I see it has grown quite alot in the time that I have been GS-less. [very dark times :P )

See my GS500 Brake Parts list.  I replaced BOTH rotors with EBC Pro-Lites for under $300.  That was from Chaparral, but they bumped their prices recently so Parts411 looks like the current low-price winner.
