i filled it with water over the upper line... what will happen?? and im using the battery charger to charge it... the guy who sold me my bike told me it was maintanance free... that ass lied... i check my fluid level and they were under the lower level... so... my question is... i over filled the water over upper line... is this bad???

John Bates

I'm no battery expert but I don't think you have a problem.

I believe over a period of time the excess water will evaporate and the level will drop to between the lines.

I noticed with my battery the previous owner overfilled it and I haven't had a problem yet. :)

oh ok.. thanks! but im in process of charging my battery right now... but it's making this boiling noise... is that cool?? or not cool?

The Buddha

Boiling is normal, however it shouldn't get super hot or swell ... that means you got too high amperage or AC in the DC circuit...
Cool.
