While rejetting I pulled out a float and that little dangling thing on it disappeared.  Vanished!  I've spent the past hour on my hands and knees.  Is that a popular Suzuk item or will I have to wait forever and a day?   :x  :x  :x

OK I have a rack of Katana carbs I have been cannibalising ... tell me which part from a bike bandit diagram and I'll have one out to you tommorow ... you talking float needle right.... bike bandit link and part number ... from GS... I'll swpie it off the Kat's carbs ... 99% is the same and a Kat has 4 ... whooo hooo lifetime supply ...

The float needle?  I have a couple of used ones if you want.  Left over from my last carb rebuild.  Still in very good shape, nice rubber and no goove at all.  $100 each.  Just kidding.  They are yours in exchange for good will.

If you want them, email me your address and I'll send it out tomorrow USPS regular mail.

I appreciate the offers  , but with the weekend being here I'm gonna see if I can get one locally.  If there's any wait time period, you'll hear from me before lunch.

Dom

Well, I found one, damn expensive suckers.  I think they want $25 for it.  Well, at least I can pick up the pilots too, and I'm tempted to chew them out for wanting to charge me $200 to do something that takes 20 minutes to do.  BASTARDS!!!  :x  :x  :guns:  :guns:

Dom,
I know waiting sucks, but buying the float needle from a dealer is very expensive.  I just ordered 2 carb rebuild kits from www.partsnmore.com and they each come with one.  They were only $12 apiece.  Shipping was free, and they arrived in 4 days.
Life is short...Stay awake for it!!!!

Too late!  Thanks for the heads up though.  I'm damn anxious.  $30 is worth not waiting to me right now.  I'm borderline neurotic.

Hrmmph.  I see that my float needles are not good enough fer yer, eh?
