I ran out of gas.  I KNEW I was low.. it just didn't look *that* low.... *shrug*


Here's the thing.. after running out of gas, it would act like it wanted to start; but not turn over (like a dead battery..)  I'd let it sit for 3-4 seconds and it would barely turn over... but start and would run fine.....



what gives?

well if the engine didn't wanna cranck then it has nothing to do with gas....you might have a electrical problem or something....it just sounds weird that you ran out of gas and at the same time your battery is almost dead

I have a similar problem.  Check your battery terminal connection--clean them up.

No gas... then you fill gas, then it doesn't crank... check battery charge ... somehitng is odd ... electrical... if you fill up gas... and put in prime and fill the floats ... should start first or second try.
