I'm 29 years old and have been riding for just over a year now. Talk about a late bloomer.

From the time I was little I knew I would buy my own bike someday (dirt, street, it didn't matter). My Dad's been riding motorcycles for just about all of his life (50+ years), so riding (and racing?) was in my blood. I've yet to do any kind of racing, but as soon as I get a few TrackDays under my belt I would like to try my hand at CMRA racing.

Click here & scroll 1/2 way down to find my complete list of bikes I've ridden. Ive straddled an occasional dirt bike when I was 15 and got my first taste of street riding on my Dad's Yamaha Virago 750 while in college (w/o driver's license  ), but it wasn't until August '03 that I purchased my first bike, a '96 GS500. I've been commuting on it every chance I get, that is whenever its not being repaired on :x

Other than some recreational roadracing

I would luv to try some

Supermoto (motorcycle version of Rally racing),

some desert racing out in Nevada or California,

or the ultimate Paris-Dakar Rally.

Well, I can always dream, right?

The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

I'm a begginer by GSJack's standards, 59 in Feb, first bike in summer of '63 rode a few short years then a loooooooong break until suddenly inSeptember 2001 I fancied a bike and started over again with a new Honda GS125, changed to the GS in June 03 after getting full license back in December 02.
To this day I have no idea what triggered the impulse to get a bike again but I'm real glad I did, that had a trigger affect on co-workers and a couple of them have come back, born-again bikers plus one forty-something started afresh.
