After riding the bars Srinath sent me for about 2 months, I am finally ready to give my review.  For those of you who don't know, I am talking about Srinath's SM type2 replica's.  They were a perfect fit on the bike, and looked amazing.  I had no problem at all mounting them, however I did have to sand off some of the powder coating to get the Choke lever and Throttle tube to slide freely.  The bars definitely made the stance more aggressive, and for riding around a college town at ~40 MPH, I have to admit, it sucked.  The bars also put my wrists at an extreme angle, and they would start to ache after a while.  Had I been riding in the twisties, and not in the city, I would have loved them, but for casual riding, everyday to school, I would not recommend these bars.  Here is a picture of them mounted on my bike:

The craftsmanship on these was OUTSTANDING, but the riding position is definitely not the most comfortable.

P.S.  My bike got pushed over in a parking lot with these bars on, and although my brake lever got broken, the bars weren't even bent!

I guess that's the downside of living in the flattest state in the union.  ;)

You had to sand them??? I always thought they were a bit too small dia... powdercoating is totally un predictable ...
