it has rained here in atlanta for like a week straight.  The *few* days it's not raining I am forced to do other stuff (drive my license-revoked roommate around, deal with g/f etc)

Today it's beautiful.  I have a final in 5 hours I had to take off work to study for... and it's a nice 60 degrees and sunny outside.


This weekend is my MSF.  It's supposed to rain fri, sat, and sun morning.  I wonder how that's going to go... hm

If it makes you feel any better we got 4 inches of snow, then it warmed up and we got a couple of inches of rain , which then froze overnight and then it snowed on top of that all this = no riding

dyran:  i'm in toronto and it seemed like i could ride last night. . .i almost did, then got skeptical that mother nature was teasing me and it would rain/snow/hail 5 minutes into my ride when i'm already 10 km from home

screw this weather. . .you americans who don't have snow. . .you have it gooooooooooooooooood

I know what you mean.. it rained all last week. This week has been great though, mid-60s and sunny.. but finals are this week and I need to study.. I can't just take off for a day and enjoy it. Ugh. Oh well. Hopefully it'll still be nice next week.

If it was not for this mezzanine I have to design, I would have left work at lunch and gone riding. Would not have been a problem since my boss rides and says that we all need to take time off during the week to play.

here in San Diego, it's been cold, but weather's been holding out.  Few light drizzles, but can't help but say it..  I LUUUUUUVE San diego weather  :mrgreen:

Yup ... and worse ... if the electricity goes even for a few hours ... stores literally want to toss the entire freezer load ... and most shelf items too   .. so for 2-3 days after the snow the stores are empty ... so like look at forecast, run to the store, then pray you dont lose power for too long and then the next 3 days are good. Of course the whole damn state comes to a total grinding halt at even the mention of snow ... and for good reason ... we got no snow equipment, no plows, no salt, no chains, no nothing ...

Check out these facts:
Last Friday Dec 3/04, +10C. Saw a couple of guys riding - granted that's not a normal temperature for us this time of year.
Saturday, -15C and snowing. We got 8 - 10 inches of the fluffy stuff on the ground.
Sunday, -21 C friggin' degrees and still snowing.
Woke up Monday morning -26 C Bloody degrees - but stopped snowin'(yay). Its unreal !!! (not the 'tournament')
Today its' a balmy -15C but going up to a lovely -7C.
At least we have the mountains and skiing!!! :mrgreen:  
AND we are having a Champ Car event here in July - first ever in Edmonton.
