Anybody know? I don't have my bike here right now. Hoping someone could go out to their's and measure the diameter just off the can.

Thanks in advance
Shane

The diameter just off the can on the 2004 GS500F is about 2".  When I get home later I can probably send you the measurements along most of the length.  I am working with Srinath on a slip on for mine.  We've been down this road quite a bit.  We tried a stocker with 2" pipe from another bike and that wasn't quite working.  Then we cut closer to the header pipe, where it necks down to about 1.75".  We are about 99% there.  I have the slip on and am going to sand and paint (with semi-flat black hi temp engine paint) it tonight and mount it over the weekend.   Srinath did a great job.  Will have more info later.

Cool, I was curious. I just got my wileyco exhaust from Dennis Kirk and plan on doing the same thing. I have already made a gasket bracket and needed to know what size pipe needs to welded on it to fit to the stock pipe.
