I was leaving the parking lot where I worked, and there is a part where it's a hill (going down) and a left turn.. and you have to stop kind of in the middle of the turn

hard to explain.. but I locked up my front wheel.  Almost went down, but a left foot kept me up. thankfully...

ugh.  I went back and looked and there was like oil or something leaked there.  I told the maint guy and he said he'd take care of it

scratch

W00t, w00t! Nothing like a little pecker pucker moment to get the blood flowin'! Slidin' the front is fun! Freddie Spencer style. Glad you weren't hurt. Sounds like you stayed calm. Good for you!

glad you didnt drop it. I have vanessa on the back of my bike when i slipped.. so much for "non slip" tread pattern.

I was able to bring the bike back up with her sitting out back.. scary i tell you.

It was really unnerving.  Riding dirtbikes never gave me the feeling I got from this.. like I was on ice or something and the front wouldn't straighten up... even after letting go of the front brake.
