I think a goat is a great symbol and it's really an odd coincidence that Goat was the first to be afflicted with what we now reefer to as Goat's Syndrome, because the goat is the animal most often associated with the devil/hell and Goat's Syndrome is the GS owners own little version of hell.  And like the concept of hell, it looms over our heads that we too may go to hell when our rotors explode into little fragments.

This is the "lightning bolt" squadron patch for the Strike Fighter Weapons School, Atlantic for the F/A-18 Hornet and the F-14 Tomcat located at NAS Oceana, VA. When the schools combined the officers got together to brainstorm a new design and command motto. Across the top of the triangle patch it says "Advocati Diaboli", loosely translates to "Devil's Advocates".

Club Name: "The Living 500"  (TL5 for short)

Motto:  "Speed Kills.  Stay Alive - Ride a GS500."  :lol:

Otherwise known as the "Good Sports 500"  (Or "GS500" for short)

I like the above combination myself. On one of my first rides with my wife on the back, we took a particularly twisty road. I leaned into a turn about 10mph over and it felt so good I just cranked it on. I left at maybe 20 over. They do carve corners, even two up. But they won't try and throw you off like a larger bike.
