When the weather turned "cold" here in Tampa (no sniggering from all of you with frozen body-parts), I ordered a Highland suit from http://www.broctoncycle.com after discussing its +/-'s.  I've put several hundred miles in the suit breaking it in.  At 45-49, foggy with some "sprinkles" of rain,  it was too warm with the jacket liner, so I rode without it.  The medium fits my 5'8"/165 #/ 34 w-30" inseam pretty well.  While I have read comments that denigrate the quality of this suit, I would be hard-pressed to find fault with it at the pricepoint it is designed to meet.  I think that the overall quality is excellent (better than the Joe Rocket hot weather gear that I have) and as a kind of stumpy guy, I can't fault the fit.  The inner liner is a bit of a pain when the suit goes on because it seems to catch at my boots, but, that is of my only comment.  The armor is in the right place when sitting on the bike. and is CE certified.

BTW, Brocton Cycle is discounting the suit to $259 USD including shipping.  They also "threw in" a Fieldsheer XB backpack as part of the promotion.  Great service.  No fiduciary relationship with them, yada yada...

Happy New Year!

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night ... wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible.
