kerry the days have been damn long here the last  few weeks, im not sure about this longest day but i sure as hell hope it isnt too much longer then the last week or so ive been able to see clearly on the roads from 5:20am upto 8:30pm so add another hour of more of dim light and you dont get much nighty night time round here.

Colman good to see your still around i still pop in regularly to read the forums but i havent been riding much, my bike is yet to see 1500km/s
but got acouple of weeks off so should be able to give her some decent spins.

You guys don't know how angry I am with myself. As the only South Australian member, I just got back from a 3000km ride around NSW on my '03 GS500, and spent a week in Sydney, It would of been great to catch up with you guys and go for a ride!

Maybe we can find some SA members, Or I'll probably be back in Syd some time.

Hey guys, Have any of your done anything to your suspension ? Considering doing the front springs but wanted to see what you guys have done and if your brought your parts locally or just had your bike done at a mechanics etc, cheers c0r.

pfb

Hey, c0r. I got my front fork springs done last Friday at Trevor Jordan's in Wollongong. The new Progressive springs were $129.95 and installation cost me $77. I went for a ride up Macquarie Pass and back on Saturday (awesome weather all weekend!), and I think I got some better handling, although it might just be that I'm getting better at riding the twisties, so the results are really inconclusive so far...

Yep, I stopped at the pie shop, but I hate their pies so I usually just have a coffee and piss off. On my last trip up there I met a guy from Nowra with a brand new black GSX-R1000 and a guy from Holland (I think) with a BMW. They've both heard lots of good things about the GS. Made me feel good!

pfb,

They use to be the best pies around a long time ago  but they are just ok now . I  just love going up there & meet other rides. My first time up there I could not belive how many bike riders stop there &  how friendy ppl were   .  I meet this guy   who name is Max ( his Reg is Max) a very nice guy He & his friend  , they both also had good things to say about the GS 500 which was soo cool .

Thats why I went with the GS 500 for my first bike because it had good reports, I have had it for a year  next month .
I will be moving on in may to a bigger bike The GSF 1200s   which I can not wait for.

Hey next time you go for a ride up there drope me a line here & maybe we can meet    anyway take care & Safe rider :)
