last night,
my dad was moving my bike out of the way
in the garage and accidently tipped it over
( :x GRRRRR :x )

the right rear view mirror snapped off
and i'm looking to replace it. . .

i called my dealership and they said for one rear view mirror
straight from suzuki would set me back
(brace yourself)
$130 CDN!

i was like,
hell no i'm not paying that. . .

so i found an auction on ebay for the same item for real cheap. . .
which is good. . .

but i was wondering if these mirrors for a gsxr would fit:

looks like the same design. . .

i guess my real question is whether or not
my bike (gs500f) has the same mirror mounting setup as the rest of the suzuki family of bikes. . .

they look pretty similar...i would imagine they would be using the same parts across different model bikes.

by the way,
since one mirror was off,
i decided to take off the other one for the winter,
in fear that my dad will drop it on the other side too!

anyways, the bike looks so much more trick without mirrors

haha....i'm sure it does look good with them off...tell that one to the cops.

have you tried local wrecking yards...you might get lucky and be able to size one up and see if they are the same...or how bout goin to a dealer and compare to one on the floor??

but it's too cold and i'm too lazy. . .
