I am in the process of making the gp race tail for the 01+ bikes. But I need a clarification on where the seat lines up with the cowling. Sucks not having a 01+ frame to work with or even just the subframe. Anyway, from what I can tell the tabs on the cowl align with the latch of the seat as shown in the pic below. Is this correct?

yes, the tabs on the plastic bolt up in-line with the seat latch.  (I just went out in the parking lot and looked)
