i got my sv650 type 2 bars for the 04gs from suburban machine yesterday and installed them today and i must say wow  install took about an hour and that was with smoke breaks    The egros are much more agressive and my wrists did feel it after an hour of riding, but imo its well worth it.  highly recommend for those who want a sportier look.  They did cost 135 to the door....  a few pics

Are you having any trouble with clearence between the brake reservoir and the tach housing?  I want to get these bars as well, but that is my only concern.

No not at all, it is a tight fit between the banjo fitting bolt and the tach housing but i positioned it behind the tach housing and it doesn't touch.  The brake hose is also fine it's not bunched up or anything.  So i wouldn't worry about that
