Well im just about done, doin it for masterminds wife (i know his name isnt fully mastermind i just dont know the abbreviation). So far so good, im just about done, takin off my intake and my advancer and im finished. Its weird, i havent felt a noticable loss in power, but there is now ALOT more sound comming from the engine. Maybe its because i dont hear the exhaust anymore since the Jardine is off. Anyways, just thought id share, lol its odd hearing a stock GS, ive never heard it before.

BTW, intake and exhaust ARE Up for sale soon. Start PM me offers :).

Yeah I started with D&D exhaust and was more than happy to trade out for stockers.  I feel a lot less conspicuous around the neighborhood in the morning.  In fact it's so quiet people don't turn and look, almost ever, from the noise.  They even seem surprised to see a motorcycle snuck up right next to them, in the lot or on the road.  I like that, since I have a horn if I really need their attention.  OK, half a horn.

When I bought mine and rode it home with the D&D, my mileage was in the upper 30's.  It seemed powerful enough, and indeed has a bit less power now I think, but the mileage is better and the power is still good enough for me.  (Some carb fixes, like the rebuild kit, float height adjustment and Srinath's prescription for jet sizes, etc., probably contributed more to the better mileage in fact.)

To me it was like having a brand new bike, and I too had to adjust my "hearing" the bike since it was speaking a new dialect.  If I ever buy a brand new one, I probably will have the jets at least changed if it seems to be running lean enough to justify it, which all reports seem to indicate would be the case.  But I probably will leave the exhaust stock.
