Damn! ... Living in T.O. is expensive.  I am down the street in London.  I am with Primmem.  I pay $645 with no collision.  I was paying $577 two years ago for full coverage.  My premium would have been about $765 with full coverage but I decided since the bike is getting older now that I can do without the collision.  There's a $500 deductible anyway so what's the point?!

ummm.....if he takes off the fairing....then there's no headlight....I don't know any insurer that will insure a street legal bike with no headlight or turnsignals.....just my opinion....

.....I've got American Family.....I pay $500 yr for my 03 SVS.....full coverages (at the 50/100) w/ $250 deducts, glass, roadside, and rental reimbursement....my wife's GS brings that up to $600 yr w/ same coverages...
PETE: It's four in the funking morning!

SHAUN: It's Saturday!

PETE: No, it's not. It's funking Sunday. And I've got to go to funking work in four funking hours 'cos every other funker in my funking department is funking ill! Now can you see why I'm SO FUNKING ANGRY?

ED: Funk, yeah!

i would pay about 1600 for full coverage as well.. progressive. i dont even live in the city.   also my insurance company does it by VIN number.  they dont care what your specific bike looks like.  they care what the stock bike looks like.

I only paid an extra $14/yr to switch from $500 deductibles to $250.  Full comp and collision, 50k/100k limits for $214/yr.  34 yr old, brand new rider, $2k used bike, in Los Angeles.  Doesn't include uninsured motorist though.

These guys were giving out mini-atlases at the big bike show in LA.  Pretty cool.

checked into this and .... $344.00 a year for full coverage.

currently i'm running with Progressive, just liability and paying $75 a year

25 years old, no violations.
chris<pixelmonkey>:D

well, i'm 27 and have had one at fault accident and Markel wanted something like $330 a year for full coverage while Progressive quoted me over $2000.

Progressive told me they don't care what mods you do, just as long as they aren't a turbo or NOS.  Everything else is A-OK  :thumb:

im glad we only need one tag and it sits on the back, even then, read the law carefuly, i beat one ticket  once by having my tag in rear window bolted to an L bracket on rear deck. even set up a tag light for it (tag under glass)

Because it was Perm Mounted to the REAR section of the car and was CLEARLY lit it was legal. i made sure it was directly behind my head so they couldnt pop me with Interfering with view either.

I'm an insurance agent for a medium to high risk auto company... There's many different factors that total into your rate.  Here's a few...

Location: claims per population usually broken down by zip code
Age: I think everybody remembers their teenage rates
Claims/driving record: accidents and tickets count!
Credit: Not legal in all states but usually good credit = low claims
Vechicle: Of course a mustang is rated higher than pinto!
Coverage: Higher limits of coverage come at a price $100k > $25k

These a just a few...
