I've changed the front sprocket and now the clutch doesn't work.  I can shift while holding the clutch down.  Any suggestions to fix this?

Welcome!

You may have not aligned the clutch rod with the actuator on the sprocket cover. Remove the cover and make sure the rod is level. Slowly slide the cover back on keeping it level with the bike on the centerstand. Hope this helps. Also, you may have to re-adjust the clutch freeplay. You may have to do a search on "clutch" and/or "freeplay" here.

I aligned the clutch rod with the actuator on the sprocket cover.  I even tried to clutch mauall by pushing the rod by myself and didn't work either, when tried to shift it just made the cracking sound that the clutch isn't working.

Is there something wrong if i pull the rod out?

any other suggestions?

No, nothing should go wrong if you pull the rod out, but I don't see why pulling the rod out will help.

I can't think of anything else that may be wrong, except the cable end on the actuator coming out, but that's highly improbable.

You can pull the lever at the handlebar, right, but you can't put the bike in gear?

ok, the bike has been stopped for more than a year.  I can pull the lever but when i try to shift the crackling sound of gearing is done (trying to gear while clutch is supposed to be down).

Dunno what is it, but checked the cable and its fine.

I think i will take the clutch out and inspect it.
