I just bought a '92 gs500e about a week ago.  It has about 14K miles on it but is in pretty nice shape.  I have put about a hundred miles on it already doing my best to stay warm and out of the snow here in PA!  I have a 1971 Harley FLH but also wanted to ride something a little more "user friendly" for a while!  I have yet to find anything wrong with the bike, warms up nice, clutch and tranny are good, engine runs smooth.  I have already learned alot about the bike from reading this forum, thanks everyone!

Nice Glide 'cept...never was big on ape hangers. Put a set of buck-horn bars in their place and then she'll be user friendly. I've had a couple of Glides and they were absolutely the best scooters I ever owned. Loving the GS500 and the forum.

I agree, I got the bike with the apes on it already but I do have plans to put buck horns on.
