Here is closeup carnage to the bike

Handlebars bent, speedo crushed and left mirror busted off

Front left showing speedo damage, busted (but still functional turn signal), and a few minor scratches on the headlight housing.

Paint scraped of tank and dent.  Also a few minor scracthes on frame. Engine is dirty but still runs and deosn't seem to have much more damage than what was already there.  The Left footpeg mount is also bent back slightly(not shown)

Wow, that's a bummer man. Hope you can get everything fixed up alright.

I recently was carving a canyon road and not only hit gravel on a tight switchback which caused the rear to kick out and almost spit me off, but then in my effort to catch up to my riding partner I came into the next corner too hot and target fixated on the closing edge of the road.  Thankfully I snapped out of it just in the nick of time, but I learned how scary target fixation really is.

Needless to say I have toned down my canyon carving, and am taking things at a slower pace.  I just don't want to mess up my bike or myself.

Glad to see you're OK.  That's most important  :thumb:
