QuoteLOL, So I must get bonus points for looking like a big Denver Broncos or Syracuse Orangemen fan!?

GS = orange
me = Joe Rocket blue

Yes, you can get bonus points for that, UNLESS you are living in an area where those teams are popular. Then, I'm sorry to say, you lose points.

Laura
nope, everyone around here is either a Jets or Giants fan, so I am good to go with the bonus!  :thumb:

I think it's really tough to know in general what details women notice.

Example, my wife is completely oblivious to the style of wheels on cars.  I say "How can you NOT notice that?  It's a defining element of the car!"  She claims to never see the wheels at all.

My five year old son:  "Mom, that van is the same as ours except the wheels are different." :)

Of course, my wife also can't imagine that I don't care what purse she is carrying.  "It's the ultimate accessory.  It completes everything.  How can you not notice??"

My suggestion is find a girl you are interested in, ask her what she would like to see for a bike/gear, and if you are really interested go buy all the stuff.  It will show her you care :lol:  And if she doesn't care about any of it you saved some money, stress, and started a conversation.

You know a first date is the last date when you are asked "what are you staring at?" and you can't even bring yourself to pry your eyes off of the row of nekkid sport bikes that just pulled up outside where you are having dinner in order to reply "you didn't notice all those bikes that pulled in?"  :lol:

We vary, you know.  ;)  I notice wheels instantly.  I like a neat, fairly stock package on a bike, with the modifications subtle and well-done if present; gear can match the bike or contrast, as long as the guy is wearing it and has shown some interest in not throwing on every color in the rainbow.

What are they 12? 13 maybe?  LOL  :lol:
Scary!

As for bikes.. I notice bikes... Oh yeah.  Call it an obsession.  I stare at the CBRs, the R6 what ever it doesn't matter.  I will even look at some cruisers.. but-- not so much.

When we are out at lunch here in Boston I drag some of the guys I work with around to check out some of the rides.   :mrgreen:

I tend not to notice the little things at home though.  New curtains and such.   :dunno:   But I do notice things like a new perenial in the yard.  Go figure!

Yeah, I know.  I was going to add a comment on how my wife and son do not necessarily represent a definitive gender analysis  :mrgreen:

Hmm, I'll bet the MDA ("mechanical detail awareness") among females that ride is generally higher than among females that don't.

That could work either for or against you with a bike-riding femme.  If you're a poser, you may get thrashed.  On the other hand, subtlety might pay off in a meaningful long-term relationship.

The first bikin' guy I ever fell in love with didn't have fairing. :)

Of course, he didn't have any protective gear, either... it was a different age.   :roll:

The chicks I meet don't care how many CC's my bike is... they just want a ride.

Most of the chicks here only know two things about motorcycles: Harley or sportbike.

Quote from: cozyBikes are cool, but:
Singing in a metal band has bought me the most attention.   If that's your goal, learn to scream without destroying your vocal cords or play guitar or drums. Far more women are attracted to that, i'm pretty sure. Having played in a couple of other musical styles and having ridden a bike for about two years now i can definitley say go metal.
:cheers:

id have to agree with most of that, being the lead singer / lead guitarist for a pop punk/metal band has gotten me the most attention as well but i dont always attract the girls i want to date they are usually immature rebellious little snots who id rather send to some other poor soul. true it gets you laid alot but neither a bike or anything else but yourself will really attract a winner. I drive an old volvo as a daily driver and im about to start driving a 74 volvo 145 wagon if a girl doesnt mind my old a/c-less cars and my loud ass GS then she is a winner :) haha
