HI,

I'm new to this forum and a new GS500 owner (a 1995).

I've seen "restricted horse power" comments on certain GS models. To which models does this apply? Mine is a U.S. , non California issue.

Secondly.. where do I find touch up paint? Mine is the "bright metalic purple".

I'm really loving this machine. I've owned several bikes over the years: Honda 400F, BMW RS100S, and a KZ650 which I loved (got stolen!). I've really appreciated the posts here and have already put in my fork spacers (great!)

I believe the restricted versions only apply to some EU and Aussi models if I am not mistaken. Welcome to the greatest forum on the net. As far as the paint, I believe someone in the past week was asking that very same question on one of the threads. Search for it and you should find it, if not I'm sure somebody here will soon answer your question there. Now go out and hug that little Baby 500 and cherish this forum.
